Peyton - Four Year Old Appointment & SHOTS!

Our little man was such a trooper today at his four year old appointment with Dr. Dentler. He had to get two shots and never shed a tear or made a complaint! He is right on track with everything and said he is going to be a BIG boy...weighing in at 51.5 pounds and measuring 43.5 inches long.(Both in the HIGH 90's percentile.)

Four candles to blow out this year!

Peyton got to pick his cake this year...and after some options he decided on a pinapple upside down cake. He even helped me bake it. (Which was his favorite part I think!) We just got together with family on his birthday evening for cake and icecream.
I am a fan of small birthday get togethers...nothing big or outrageous.  I think it's quite ridiculous.  Of course 1st and milestone birthdays deserve a little more, so next year for his 5th we plan on the "works."

San Antonio Summer 2011

We took a short but sweet 2 day trip to San Antonio this week. First we stopped in at the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch just outside of SA. (Which was really neat!) We had dinner that night at Mi Tierra and shopped in the Market. On Wednesday we had a full day at Sea World. It was HOT but lots of fun. Maybe in a couple of years we will go back WITH the boys. EEK!

First stop...petting zoo
Rode through the safari...saw lots of cool animals.  Some with babies!

We fed the zebra...

...who smiled at us!

Had dinner at my Dads favorite restaurant in San Antonio.  Mi Tierra
Yum!

Shopped at the market.

Took a stroll down the River Walk
Visited with Nana Jo

SEA WORLD SAN ANTONIO

Our favorite show

Sixteen Months Old

Just a little update...We took the boys to their 15 month check up on July 27th. Sometimes it hard to fit in three boys in a check up slot so we take what we can get...even if it's almost a month late!

Here are their stats:
Cooper West: 24lbs 4oz and 31inches long
Greyson Reid: 24lbs 3oz and 31 inches long
Bode Frank: 23lbs 4oz and 31 3/4 inches long (Dr. said he would be my tall lean boy)

Rachel was very pleased with their progress...no worries (not even that the twins are not walking yet.) BTW...within a few days after the appt they both decided to walk, taking multiples steps. They are still crawling for the most part but only because it's faster.
