Birthday Party

We were invited to Kannon Koop's 2nd birthday party this morning.  Kannon's Mom, Jill is like family to me and Kannon is the same age as Cooper, Greyson & Bode.  The Koops hope to return to Edna soon to live and raise their family so I hope that K and the Trips will become best buds!
I'm afraid that he may have to fight the boys off his Sister, Kora with a stick!  They were pretty smitten with her!

Christmas Eve 2011

Tonight we attended Christmas Eve service at our church, FUMC-Edna.  The boys made their presence known as they were a tad bit loud and obnoxious with their snacks, toy cars and dinosaurs.  Crazy as it was, it was a beautiful evening spent with family and friends.

Peyton's Little School Christmas Program

Today Peyton "performed" in his Little School Christmas program.  He was one of the Wise Men...more particularly, the Wise Man that brought Frankincense to Baby Jesus. He said his line perfectly and did great on stage.  They also had their Christmas "party" with cookies and punch following the performance.  He does love school but I think he is excited to have a break till January 5th.  I'm not sure he realizes how much he will miss his friends though.  Guess we will need some play dates during the holidays!

FUMC-Edna Children's Christmas Program

The boys (yes, all of them) performed in the Children's Christmas Program at our church on Wednesday night.  It was such a cute program!

Cooper, Greyson & Bode were a part of the "Jingle Babies" group.

Peyton was a "bull" at the Nativity.  He was more like a "bull in a china shop."  I think he was hot in that outfit and got a little antsy.  He def got shot a lot of "STOP IT" looks from Mom, Dad and Gran that night!

Our handsome little man/bull child!

Fun times with the McCarrell Cousin!

Jason's Brother Jamie and his wife and son (Kristin & Lincoln) came to town this weekend.  They flew in to sing in the First Baptist Church's Christmas Cantata.  Jamie and the Choir Director, Charles, have been best friends forever and has been begging them to come sing with his choir.  Lucky for us, they had lots of practices along with the performances so Lincoln got to come hang with us a lot.   The boys had so much fun playing with their cousin and the Cantata was just beautiful.  It was a great weekend!

We tried to get a pic of the cousins in hopes to get a good enough one for a gift for the Grandparents.  HA!  They had other plans.  The below pic is the best we could do.

Meeting Santa

The boys were officially 20 months old on 12-2-2011 and we went that evening to the Shop at Home Event/Christmas Tree Lighting on the Court House lawn. They had fun seeing all the people and Christmas lights and Peyton jumped in the bounce house. They also met Santa. You can see below just how well that went....Cooper was not so much into Santa.

The Holiday Train came to town!

The Kansas City Holiday Train stopped in Edna on its way visiting the towns along the railroad.  We went a couple of years ago before the babies and Peyton enjoyed it.  We waited in line for a while but the boys did well all things considered.  Santa was also in the train and we just let Peyton sit on his lap..not knowing how well the boys would do and not wanting to hold up the line.  They seemed to enjoy all the trains and toys within the train.  It was a pleasant evening out of the house.  Ready for the Holidays!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Due to Jason's work schedule, we decided to stay in Edna for Thanksgiving even though the rest of the Webster clan was in Houston.  We did in fact, have a pleasant and laid back day surrounded by family and our close friends, Lynn and Kristen.  We are Thankful for the many blessings that the Lord has given us!

Best Buds

We always love to spend time with our cousin Zak!  He and Peyton have taken to each other (well...it only took like one meeting) and they are the best of buds!  They came to town just for the day to visit and take Maw to Houston for Thanksgiving since we would not be able to make it.  It's so fun to watch them play.

Being silly..

...and sweet!

Chili Spill Weekend

Jason and friends (AKA the Serial Grillers) competed in the Chili Spill again this year.  They did really well...won first place chicken.  The boys had a great time at the event.
