Friday Night Lights at Cowboy Stadium

Friday night was the first home football game for the Edna Cowboys. Peyton really seemed to be excited about going to watch "da ball." We left from Moms house and had to pick up Jason at our house. He was hollering Daddy! Hurry! It was pretty cute!

He did surprisingly well and we were able able to make it through the whole game. (Last year, through half time was about all he could take.) I hope he continues to be interested in sports like his Paw Paw... he would have been so proud to carry him up those stands.

Two Year "Stats"

Peyton had his two year appointment at Dr. Dentler's today. Here are his "stats:"

Weight: 36lbs, 98th percentile
Height: 35.5 inches, 77th percentile
Head circumference: 20.25 inches, 97th percentile

The Dr. said everything looks great...no concerns. (But we knew already that he is the most perfect baby boy EVER!)

Quiet Birthday at home

We didn't have a formal birthday party for Peyton this year. He had a small, but fun joint party at Mrs. Samantha's with his buddy Braylen. (See yesterdays post.) Jason was scheduled for a quick outpatient surgery in Houston today and he needed some recovery time so that nicked the Saturday party. We thought we might have a party next weekend but decided that he had a great birthday and we didn't need to over do it. Next year, when he understands a little more, we will have a super-duper fun kids party.
